Phantom of the Attic in Monroeville, PA is a full-service comic shop serving the Greater Pittsburgh area and beyond since 1986. The store carries a full-line of comic books, a very wide range of TPB and graphic novels, a complete line of comic supplies, and a modest selection of action figures and statues. Our “no minimum” subscription service for New Comics is second-to-none.
A Short History:
Phantom of the Attic, a name synonymous with comic books in the Greater Pittsburgh area since 1984, came under a radical change in August 1990. The chain of 5 comic shops under single ownership were sold individually. Three of the original five comic shops remain today. This location (originally opened in 1986) has been owned and operated by Roy since that time. The other two locations, Parkway Center Mall & Oakland, are owned by Ron and Jeff, respectively.
Whether you’re new to the shop or have been shopping with me for years, I’d like to thank all of you that have made it possible for making “Phantom” the place that it is today. It couldn’t have been accomplished without you.
